Established in 1951, the Junior League of Long Island has over 300 members in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.  Approximately sixty percent of our members are currently employed outside the home; all balance the demands of work, family, and self with their desire to make Long Island a better place to live.  Our headquarters is located in the Village of Roslyn.  The Junior League of Long Island is affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues International, an organization of 292 Leagues throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and England whose membership includes 193,000.
