The Junior League of Long Island raises funds through special events in addition to individual giving and sponsorship in an effort to train and educate League members for effective community service, as well as to financially support projects and programs where League volunteers serve. More than 10 committees support the community needs of Nassau & Suffolk Counties as well as the institutional needs of the organization. Our purpose is improving the lives of at-risk women and children of Long Island in partnership with community-based organizations and public agencies to deliver services and assistance directly to those in need.
